Okay Already I'm guilty...

Thank you Citizen Rosebud!  You've gotten me off the proverbial blogger excuse couch.  I've been wanting to post some new pictures of great thrift store finds and of course I haven't posted because I was thinking I needed a new camera so I could show close ups and details.  Well, my camera purchase has been lost in the UPS whirl pool and can't seem to find it's way to me.  I did take some pictures w/ my older camera and I'm proud to show you my finds and see what you think of them.
I found this great Branell dress!! The House of Branell designed dresses for the likes of Grace Kelly before becoming the Princess of Monaco.  The dress she wore to meet the Prince was designed by Branell. Do you agree this was a great find?  Sizing?  I think it's about a size 7 and I will be taking measurements soon.  3/4 length sleeves with zippers, huge front/side pockets and a sweet bow in the back.

 The Branell Label.
ooops, outta order here but isn't this a great circular puzzle.  Soon to be upcycled into a great Mod and Psychodelic Clock!!! Love it.
Here's the AFC-CIO label from the inside of the Branell dress...

Okay, so there I go.  Posting pics that aren't the greatest or in order but I'm learning.  I guess I can use that excuse for a long time, but aren't we all still learning everyday?  Now I've just got to find the time to size the dress, write up a description, price and post to Etsy Haiku Moving Company.  Thanks for the Blogger Push, Citizen RB and thanks for being my idol.  Is that too much to live up to?  Not for you I'm sure.

Sparkle Dreamin' with the Birdies and Deer

Yippeee, finally have had some time to make make make....I am having so much fun. My addiction to birdies and deer lately plus my great sewing machine thrift find, I'm having a great time. I looked up my new $25 sewing machine online and couldn't find the name ANYWHERE.  Garmadan...what's up w/ that?  But then I opened it up and found the name BROTHERS !!  The machine is a tank and I love it.  It's sewing through many layers of vinyl, leather and plastic.  The options of creativity are many...
These Sparkle Vinyl bags will be listed on my etsy site soon!  See you there!

what i made last night...

I've run out of iron on bonding material and the drive of 50 miles to the nearest Walmart to pick some up just sounded a little crazy.  So I made something that didn't needed an extra dash of color and didn't need to be lined.  How much fun was this?  They will be listed on sale on my esty site -http://www.etsy.com/shop/haikumovingcompany

Enjoy and eat well....new sparkle chopstick holders w/ bamboo chopsticks!
